"Great service and super friendly. Since I got my dog Chaser in 2006. I have been going here. My dog broke here leg as a puppy and I had to take her to the emergency pet hospital but the after care at the Adam Pet Clinic had been awesome. I have been a loyal customer bringing my puppy here for her shots and check ups. The vet is super nice too. Still remembers her when she was a pup with the cast on her leg. That really gives it a good feeling to walk in and be greeted by name.

"I have been taking our cat, Nino, to Adam Pet Clinic for roughly 7 years now and have no complaints whatsoever. Dr. Atwal has always been very kind and caring, and is always gentle with Nino. He's always telling him that he's a good boy in a very soothing voice (something I have fun mimicking at home) which helps keep him calm and still and as a result, he stays relaxed. Well, as relaxed as a cat at the vet can be.

In all the years that I have been a client of Adam Pet Clinic I have spent several thousand dollars taking care of my cat but have never felt like I had to question the need for any testing or procedures done. I see that many people have complained about the prices and some think the doctor is wanting to run tests just to get the cash. I have never gotten that impression. I have asked why a particular test was needed and was satisfied with the answer given. If I ever felt like I was being made to go along with any testing/procedures just so the clinic could have an "employee pizza night" on me, I wouldn't hesitate to tell them I wouldn't allow them to do it. If that happened, I would take my pet, smile and thank them for everything, then turn and walk out the door. There are lots of vets out there and I wouldn't put up with being ripped off.

As Michelle M. pointed out, any time you go to the hospital or doctor for a mysterious illness they run a battery of tests and no one says a thing. Afterall, they're the doctors and they certainly know what they're doing, right? Why is it so different when it's your pet? Do they not deserve the same quality of care as we do? I know it's costly. Trust me, I do, but Dr. Atwal knows what he's doing and he's good at his job. If your dog or cat is just that, a dog or cat to you, then this is probably not the place you want to go. If, however, your dog or cat is a true member of your family, then I highly recommend Adam Pet Clinic."

"Frankly, I don't see how anyone could review this clinic badly. I have two dogs I take there regularly. One was very timid with men and I told Dr. Atwal. He spent 10 minutes playing with her, to get her to feel comfortable and it helped immensely. I couldn't believe this busy man took the time to do this.

He genuinely cares about the animals he treats, is friendly and professional and takes the time to answer all questions.

Amanda, who works the front desk, is very friendly and caring also. I have been going here for years and I highly recommend this clinic. Pet care is not cheap but I feel I get my money's worth here, and they take the time to review my dogs' records when we arrive and ask questions that lead me to believe they really do care."

"I have been going here since the first days they opened 16 or so years ago.  Dr. Atwal IS the best. He is caring, and honest with "the parent". The staff is equally compassionate  Just today my cat Junior, that he has been taking care of for 16+ years through his illnesses, on going medical problems died.  They did everything they could without wasting my money on unnecessary tests etc...They made him as comfortable as possible and I took him home to die in peace, at home.  Dr Atwal even gave me his person cell number in case I needed him to make a house call if needed.  I will continue taking my other cats to Adam Pet Clinic!!!!!"

 "I was unsure how many stars to give, but I would give 5 on the doctor alone.  Dr. Atwal is very thorough, understanding, and really cares about your animal.  He runs extra tests (a common complaint I see by other posts because it costs more money) to rule out all other possible issues.  Don't they do the same for people in the hospital?  They don't just do the basics to go cheap.  No, they go all the way.  My cat has periodontal disease and Dr. Atwal has gone out of his way to explain the details of it with diagrams and why it is necessary for a dental cleaning once per year.  Other vets (and I have tried many before discovering Dr. Atwal ) have just told me it's unnecessary for him to get his teeth cleaned- it's only optional.  Besides being in the dental field for 7 years myself, any idiot can see that my cat clearly has moderate-severe gum problems.  It's hereditary- he has had it since he was a kitten and I have had to maintain that with yearly cleanings.  Dr. Atwal is a genuine person and if your animal means everything to you, and you are willing to go to great lengths to make sure his/her health is under complete control, then this is the doctor for you.  The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the staff can improve (a little unprofessional and they goof off sometimes at the front desk) and I agree that you do pay a lot- a little too much at times.  I had to pay a lot of money when my cat was very sick, when the cause was unclear, but because of all the xrays and tests, he was better rather quickly with his clear diagnosis and medications.  So, it's up to you what means more.  If you want a cheap "quick-fix"- don't go here because you won't find it.  If you want your pet to get the full treatment & can spend the extra money, this is the doctor to go to.  If my mother was sick and we weren't sure why, I sure wouldn't cut corners on tests and care.  All things considered, I may see if I can find the best of both worlds somewhere else, where I can leave happy with a healthy pet, and also have some extra money in my wallet.  I understand the frustration from other customers about the costs (believe me- it was a rough month for me financially!) but please don't underestimate Dr. Atwal's intentions or abilities- they are outstanding."

"Dr. Atwal has performed so many surgeries and diagnoses for dogs I've brought to him, it's hard to know where to start. He sees my personal dogs, and has tackled every complicated mystery mess dog I've rescued out of the shelter (in excess of 2000 dogs). His surgeries, knowledge, attention to detail and skills are all top notch. He's not the cheapest place in town; I've been to the cheapest and have had to go to Adam Pet Clinic after to have the dog's botched procedure redone correctly."

"My friends have been telling me to go see Dr. Atwal for a long time. At first, I was hesitant to switch vets, but I had a bad experience with my last vet. So, I decided why not, let's give it a try. I have a 11 year old Lab mix who is always squeamish at the vets. She had this oozing growth on the side of her leg near her paw. My previous vet would muzzle her to simply examine her in the room. He did not want to remove the growth either, or rather warned against it due to her age. When  I took her to Dr. Atwal, the receptionist Amanda and another younger gentleman greeted me cordially and gave me some sheets to fill out. Dr. Atwal gave the most thorough exam I had ever seen. He was completely hands on with my dog, and he did not use a muzzle at all. They advised a few blood tests, which I decided to go ahead with. They called me back the next morning and told me the tests said that everything was fine. Two days later she went in and had the growth removed. I recommend Dr. Atwal because he truly loves pets and what he does."

"This is an honest and knowledgeable clinic.

I have been going to this clinic since 1998 when I got my first dog.  We now have 3 dogs.  2 Whippets and 1 German Sheperd.   My pets have always been treated gently and well cared for here.  They do nails, dental care, neuter, spade, and routine exams for my pets.

Dr. Atwal saved the younger whippet's life when he had eaten rat poison.
He also cleared a large object stuck in German Sheperd's throat.
He was able to avoid surgery in both cases and get a great outcome.  5 stars."

"My wife and I moved from a very rural area on the North Coast of California, where everyone knows everyone by first name.

We were more than delighted to find Dr. Atwal and his friendly and competent staff.

He is a very kind and gentle veterinarian, whom I would recommend to anyone. We've been fortunate to have good vets for our pets, and Dr. Atwal is one of the best.

In one relative emergency, and in another case where a cat really needed to be seen quickly due to an infection, Dr. Atwal found the time, and he treated both competently.

Each cat had their lab results back quicker than any other veterinarian than we have ever been to, and as I said, all have been good.

They also take really good care of your pets when they are there. Only people who truly love animals could be so kind to cats, dogs and other pets.

We have four cats and we plan to continue taking them all to Dr. Atwal.
